Maakte ik Lieve Wensen voor de nacht

I made Lovely Wishes for the night

Om Heerlijk te Slapen en Fijn te Dromen

To have a Good Night and Sweet Dreams

En maakte ik nog een stilleven van Parels en Handschoentjes en kleine Zeep Roosjes

And I made a vignette of Pearls and Gloves and little Soap Roses

Dat je Zoete Dromen maar werkelijkheid mogen worden! Welterusten!

... net als degene die deze schoentjes ooit aan gehad heeft...

Even een dank-je-wel aan mijn lieve mannetje van wie ik deze prachtige quilt en kussenhoesjes gehad heb, als een vroeg verjaardagskadootje, had ze al een tijdje geleden gezien bij m'n zusje in de winkel, Bloembinderij Ma-d'r-Liefjes, lopen twijfelen en dubben en nu kreeg ik ze zomaar, lief hè!

Just a little thank-you to my dear hubby from whom I got these gorgeous quilt and cushions, as an early birthday present, had seen them a while ago in my sister's shop, Bloembinderij Ma-d'r-Liefjes, but I was doubting and hesitating and now I got them just like that, sweet isn't it!

December Daily: Day 15 - Christmas Bedroom

Vandaag een kijkje in onze slaapkamer, want daar ligt het dus...

Het prachtige kado dat de postbode gisteren bracht...

Alsof het hier gewoon thuishoort...

Het oude raam moest uit de kamer ivm de kerstboom, dus nu staat hij aan het kantje van M.

The old window had to move from the livingroom connecting the tree, so now it's on M.'s side of the bed

Maakte vanmorgen nog dit hartje met gipskruid...

Made this morning the little heart with baby breath...

Veranderde het rekje weer een beetje...

Changed the rack a little...

Maakte een kleine, eenvoudige kerstdecoratie van het oude lijstje...

Made a little, simple Christmas decoration of the old frame...

Aan mijn kantje een stolp met oude boekjes, antieke kerstklokjes en een lief vogeltje...

On my side a cloche with old books, vintage Christmas bells and a cute little bird...

In de vensterbank een paar kandelaars (op de zinken labeltjes staat: Ho Ho Ho) en sneeuwwitte cyclamen...

In the window sill a few candleholders (on the sink tags it says: Ho Ho Ho) and snowwhite cyclamen...

Tegenover het bed hangt nog een oud rekje...

Opposite the bed there's another old rack...

Ik kocht deze schattige vaasjes bij m'n zusje voor slechts 0,95 per stuk, te leuk om te laten staan toch?!? Deed er zelf een stukje kant om en hing er een klein zinken kruisje aan...

I bought these cute little vases at my sister's for only 0,95 a piece, to pretty not to buy them don't you think?!? Put a little piece of lace around them myself and added a little sink cross...

Deze sterren maakte ik een paar jaar geleden... Merry Christmas...

Het schemerlampje uit de woonkamer moest ook hierheen ivm de kerstboom... vind 'em hier ook wel leuk staan!

Om er sfeervol en kerstachtig uit te zien...

Dit was trouwens het complete pakket dat ik kreeg...

Btw, this was the whole parcel I got...

Peet deed er ook nog een stapel lapjes bij, want "daar kon ik vast wel wat mee"!

Peet also added a pile of fabrics, cause "I certainly could do something with it"!

En deze schattige kaarten, nou, heb ik iets teveel gezegd? Wat een verwennerij! Peet, nogmaals bedankt en een dikke knuf!

And those pretty cards, well, did I say to much? What a pampering! Peet, thanks again and a big hug!
