Now It's My Turn!

Ik ben al eens eerder getagged en heb toen zeer interessante dingen over mezelf verteld (*ahum*), maar ik denk dat het nu tijd is om jullie deze feitjes nog maar eens te vertellen!

I've been tagged before, and I've told some very interesting things about me then (*ahum*), but I think it's time to tell you the facts again!

1: Het zal voor degenen die mijn blog lezen geen verrassing zijn dat ik gek ben op het inrichten van ons huisje! Ik vind het heerlijk om de seizoenen te volgen, dus nu lijkt ons huisje aardig herfstachtig ondanks dat het weer nog zalig is!

1: It's no surprise for the ones who read my blog, but I'm very passionated about decorating our home! I love to go with the seasons, so now our home looks pretty fall-ish, although the wheater is still gorgeous!

2: Ik ben bloemiste van beroep. Ik heb zelfs mijn eigen winkel gehad, maar nadat ik kindertjes kreeg werd het toch wat te druk en nu werk ik nog een aantal uurtjes in de bloemenwinkel van m'n zusje. Ik denk dat dat ook de reden is dat ik altijd verse bloemen in huis heb, soms een mooi boeketje, soms een paar eenvoudige takken, het geeft je huis net dat beetje extra. En ik ben ook gek op het maken van kransen, hmmm... bedenk me nu dat ik nog geen herfstkrans heb...!

2: I'm a florist. I even have had my own shop, but after I got kids it was to busy, and now I work a couple of hours in the florist shop of my sis. I think that's the reason I always have fresh flowers in my home, some times a lovely bouquet, sometimes just a few simple flowers, it gives a house just a little bit more. And I love making wreaths, hmmm... I don't have a Fall wreath yet....!

3: Kerst is mijn favoriete feest, alhoewel pasen op een goede 2e plaats komt. Al die prachtige spulletjes, kaarsjes, de boom... Ik vind het allemaal geweldig!

3: Christmas is my favorite holiday, although Easter is a good 2nd. All those gorgeous decorations, the candles, the tree... I love it all!

4: Mijn hobby hoekje is mijn happy space! Dit is mijn geliefde kleine plekje in ons huis, waar ik lekker kan knutselen en kan dromen over knutselen! Ik breng hier heel wat uurtjes door!

4: My craftspace is my happy space! This is my beloved little place in our house, where I create and dream about creating! I spend lot's of time here!

5: Ik ben een trots lid van het Your Zoap Creative Team. Dankzij Gepke heb ik de mogelijkheid om de meest mooie papiertjes en materialen te kunnen gebruiken. En bovendien is Gepke een hele lieve en warme persoonlijkheid, ze is echt een lieverd!

5: I'm a proud member of the Your Zoap Creative Team. Thanks to Gepke I have the opportunity to use the most gorgeous papers and materials. And above all Gepke is such a sweet and warm person, she's a real sweetheart!

6: Ik ben gek op scrappen. Een heerlijke manier om onze herinneringen te bewaren. Kan gewoon al die prachtige papiertjes, lintjes, kantjes en embellies niet weerstaan!

6: I love to scrap. Keeping our memories alive in a fantastic way. Can't resist all those lovely papers, ribbons, laces and all the other gorgeous embellies!

7: Ik vind het ook superleuk om dingen voor in huis te beplakken. Niets is veilig voor mijn schaar en lijm!

7: I love to alter objects for the house. Nothing is safe for my scissors and glue!

8: Tilda heeft een speciaal plekje in mijn hart. Vind die lieve kleurtjes en schattige patroontjes zo leuk. Als ik ooit een eigen atelier krijg dan zullen de kleuren waarschijnlijk hier geïnspireerd door zijn!

8: Tilda has a special place in my heart. Love those sweet colors and cute patterns. When I will ever get my own studio, I think the colors would be inspired on these!

9: Borduren is een andere hobby van me. Geen enorme projekten maar gewoon eenvoudige en lieve kleintjes. Daarom ben ik ook zo gek op stitchery!

9: Embroidery is another hobby of mine. No enormous projects but just simple and cute little ones. That's why I love stitchery so much!

10: Tijdschriften zijn mijn verslaving! Vooral de woonbladen. Zij zijn zo'n ontzettende bron van inspiratie! Ik lees ze keer op keer. Elke keer neem ik mezelf voor om ze niet meer te kopen, want ze zijn natuurlijk best wel prijzig, maar zodra ik ze zie en ruik in de winkel dan laat ik dit voornemen opslag varen! Oh ja, ik ben een echte verslaafde! Maar ik rook en drink niet!

10: Magazines are my addiction! Especially the home decorating ones. They are such a source of inspiration! I read them over and over again. Every time I tell myself to stop buying them cause they're pretty expensive but as soon as I see and smell one of my favorites in the shop I let loose my intentions! Oh yeah, I'm a real addict! But I don't smoke or drink!

En deze leuke award dank ik aan Miranda, sorry dat het even duurde voor ik erover blogde, maar hier istie dan!

En nu ga ik weer heerlijk "So you think you can dance" kijken! Owww wat is dat toch een geweldig programma!

And I owe this fun award to Miranda, sorry it did take a few weeks to blog about it, but here it is!

And now I'm gonna watch "So you think you can dance"! Oh boy do I love that show!

A little party, garden-inspiration and tagged

Afgelopen dinsdag was het alweer 11 jaar geleden dat we elkaar het jawoord gaven, op een eveneens stralende dinsdag, en tot op de dag van vandaag heb ik daar geen spijt van! Ik ben nog steeds verliefd op deze man, natuurlijk hebben we onze ups en downs gehad, maar ja, wie heeft dat nou niet? Hij is mijn rots in de branding en hij houdt me een beetje in toom als ik weer door loop te draven! (Tja, ik kan soms weleens iets te enthousiast zijn!) En hij heeft me natuurlijk m'n dierbaarste schatten geschonken, onze 3 kindertjes!
Last Tuesday it was 11 years ago we said yes, and to this day I don't regret it! I'm still in love with this man , although we had our ups and downs, but who hasn't! He's my rock and he keeps me back when I'm running on! (Yes, sometimes I'm a little bit to enthousiastic!)
And of course he gave me my most precious treasures, my three little ones!

Tjeetje, we waren nog zo jong en zo zwanger (6 maanden)!

Oh my gosh, we were so young and so pregnant (6 months)!

Hij gaf me dit lieve boeketje, met 11 rozen er in.

He gave me this sweet little bouquet, counting 11 roses.

Mijn zusje Antoinette maakte dit schattige, romantische kaartje voor ons. Je bent een lieverd Twaatje!

Ja, natuurlijk, droom maar lekker verder, dit is de waarheid:

Nou, dit is zo slecht nog niet, toch?

Well, this isn't so bad isn't it?

Afgelopen week heeft m'n mannetje nieuwe tuinschermen geplaatst, zodat ik nu eindelijk plannen kan maken! Tot zover gaat alles nog goed!

Last week my beloved hubby placed new screens, so now I can finally start making plans! So far so good!

Maar dit is het meest angstaanjagende ( en grootste) gedeelte:

Weed....

Onkruid, puinhoop, rotzooi en speelgoed alom! Maar er komt een dag....! Ik blijf dromen!

Een paar weken geleden werd ik getagged door Nicky, nu zal ik eindelijk eens antwoord geven op alle vragen (sorry dat het zo lang duurde!)

A few weeks ago I was tagged by Nicky, now I'll finally give an answer to all the questions (sorry that it took me so long!)

What was I 10 years ago:
Well, first of all much younger! I owned a florist-shop, worked fulltime, my eldest almost turned 1, I was just 1 year married to M. and life was hectic.

5 Things on my to-do-list today:
1- working at a projekt for the Scrapbookmagazine
2- cleaning the kitchen
3- doing some groceries
4- preparing dinner
5- updating my blog

3 Snacks I enjoy:
1- chocolate
2- M & M's
3- chocolate cookies (Yes, I've a weakness for chocolate as you see!)

4 Things I would do if I was a millionare:
1- rebuild our home ( and build a dream-scrapspace!)
2- some shopping for the kids, scrapsupplies and of course for our home!
3- a nice little car for me, so hubby can go to his work with our current (=bigger) car
4- I think I've still some money left, so I think I would save the rest
for the kids and our pension, how smart is that!

Hippity hoppity....

.... Easter is on his way!

First of all I want to show you the Easter-banner (yep, I lóóóóve banners!) I made for the Creative Buzz challenge:



And at least I found my Easter-spirit!

Finally I decorated my home with lots of sweet soft colored flowers, lovely little eggs and of course yummie chocolate eggs!

And I turned the nature-table into spring. The sweet Blossom-Belle with her baby, two cute little bunnies and a pair of springbabies between moss, little branches and eggshells filled with the most adorable soft-pink Buttercups you've ever seen! And of course a matching book: De Wortelkindertjes (Root-children???) from Sybille von Olfers.
I also re-decorated the coffee-table:

A fresh new wreath of Buxus, Gypsophillia and lovely little blue eggs.

And even the kitchen is full of spring! Don't you think these metal hanging eggs (Appletree) have such bright and happy colors? I inmediately fell in love with them!

On the dinertable a little egg-holder, I placed eggshelves in it and filled them with the same gorgeous Buttercups, soft-pink Roses, Buxus and Gypsophillia.

A warm welcome in the hallway:

A jug filled with a bunch of pale-pink, double tulips (Angelique)

Normally I put little candles in these glasses, but now they're filled with hay and quail eggs:

Very simple, but elegant. It gives a nice country touch. (Sorry for this blurry picture, but my camera was almost empty)

The kids made the most beautiful things on school:

When I look at this, I'm feeling happy right away!

These lovely flowerpots they made today at the society of our village. They planted seeds in it, but for now they made these bright flowers.

And this really made my day:

A very nice lady, called Wybrich, wrote to me, she often came to visit my blog and noticed that I'm fond of creating things and that I'm a real book-freak. So she asked me if I was interested in this very lovely little book filled with patterns for miniatures. She made this box herself a few years ago and now she thought it was the right book for me! Can you imagine how thrilled I was??? She send it to me this week, totally unselfish! Wybrich, I thank you again for this very kind gesture! And I know for sure this will serves me a lot!

I also made a few l.o.'s this week, this one for the Tuesday-challenge of Lesli:

The challenge was to use a monochromatic colorscheme, to use ribbon, a minimum of one picture, at least two patterned papers and two shades of cardstock and minimal three stripes of journaling. You can vote on her blog Dragonflytime.



She also had a sketch-challenge, and this is what I made of it:

And I did lots more this week, but I can't show you that already, but be patient! Maybe next week!

And another girl made my day:

Kristine is a new visitor of my blog (well, at least I think so!) and she surprised me with this great and lovely award! You're a real sweetheart and I wanna thank you so much for this! I've to think about another list of people, cause I already gave an award to so many people. Give me some time!

And I want to thank Wendy for tagging me! Owww girl... I've to think about that too! First of all I'm gonna celebrate two wonderful days of Easter!!! And here are my Easter-wishes for you all:
