Hij is gek op zeilen, hagedissen en andere griezels (tussen 2 haakjes, die hierboven is nep! Gewoon plastic meiden! Hij zou natuurlijk wel een echte willen, maar ik heb 'em gewaarschuwd dat ik dan nooit meer op z'n kamer kom en dat ie dus zelf moet schoonmaken, tja, toen was de keuze snel gemaakt, hahaha!), z'n Nintendo

He loves sailing, lizards and other creepy animals (btw, the one above is fake! Just plastic girls! Of course he would love to have real one, but I've warned him that I'll never enter his room again and that he has to clean it all bij himself, well, the decision was quickly made, hahaha!), his Nintendo

En zo schattig, hij houdt er nog steeds van om met z'n Lego te spelen, dat opgeborgen is in de oude kist en samen met z'n kleine neefje houdt hij er nog steeds van om met Pokémon te spelen, dat opgeborgen is in de oude koffer. Hij is 12, bijna 13.... Soms zo stoer, soms zo lief....

And so cute, he still loves playing with his Lego, stocked in this old box and together with his little nephew he still loves playing with his Pokemon stuff, stocked in the old suitcase. He's 12, almost 13.... Sometimes so tough, sometimes so sweet....

White Linens and a Precious Gift

Vinden jullie dat ook altijd zo heerlijk ruiken, wasgoed dat buiten te drogen heeft gehangen?

Don't you just love the smell of fresh laundry, that has hanged outside?

Krakend wit linnengoed, heerlijk schoon

Cispy white linens, so clean and pure

Netjes gestreken

Neatly ironed

Allemaal souveniers uit België, net als deze 2 koffers. Vind dat houten handvat helemaal geweldig. Ik gebruik ze onder ons bed om spullen en overige rommeltjes in op te bergen.

All souvenirs from Belgium, just like the 2 suitcases. Love the wooden grip. I use them to put under our bed to store stuff and things.

De bijbeltjes zijn ook souvenirs. Vinden jullie dit ook zo'n prachtig kleurenschema? Of moet ik zeggen: gebrek-aan-kleuren-schema?

The little bibles are souvenirs too. Don't you just love this colorscheme? Or must I say: lack-of-color-scheme?

He's so gorgeous, so sweet, so cute, so perfectly made... Marja, again lots of hugs and kisses for this precious gift... I'm still speechless...



Verder heb ik ook nog een prachtige award gekregen, maar ik krijg 'em gr%^&*%$# niet goed op m'n blog, dus volgende keer meer hierover!

More brocante souvenirs, even in my Give Away!!!

Alles van de planken af, beetje schuiven (want ja, die nieuwe oude koffiepot moet er ook nog bij),

Clearing the shelves, shoving a little (cause that new old coffeepot needs a spot too)

Beetje stapelen, beetje inschikken (tuurlijk, deze leuke oude glazen potten passen hier tenslotte perfect)

Om alles maar een plaatsje te geven (zoals deze koffie potten van Melitta)

Oeps, toch ruimte tekort, nou ja, dan maar haken er in draaien (want deze schattige kannetjes vind ik wel héél erg leuk)
Oops, lack of space nevertheless, well, we've to screw in some hooks (cause these little jugs are sóóó cute!)

Pfeww... everything is placed and hanging again

M'n mannetje steunde vanmiddag (bij het indraaien van de haken) dat ie het toch wel erg vol vond worden.... snap het niet hoor! Mannen... zucht...
My hubby moaned this afternoon (when he screwed in the hooks) he thought it's way to stuffed here... I don't get it! Men... sigh...

Gelukkig was er nog een plekje op het aanrecht vrij (want ja, die oude zoutpot wilde ik toch echt gaan gebruiken, en die hele oude snijplankjes zijn gewoon geweldig)
Luckily there was a spot left on the sink (cause yes, I absolutely want to use that old saltpot, and those very old cutting boards are just great)

Dit kannetje had pech, paste niet meer naast die andere 2, maar geen probleem hoor! Vind het zo ook gezellig staan! En dames, er werd wat lacherig gevraagd of we soms een aanhanger meehadden: ja dus! Hahaha, denk dat ik 'em volgend jaar maar thuis laat, het begint toch echt een beetje uit de hand te lopen! Maar ja, voor al die kleine prijsjes, al die leuk spulletjes... kan het gewoon niet laten!
This little jug didn't fit on the shelves anymore, but hey, no problemo! I think this looks lovely too! And ladies, you asked me, a little giggly, if we had a trailer wagon with us: and yes, we had!
Hahaha, I think I'll leave it at home next year, things are getting out of hand a little! But hey, all those little prices, all those cute treasures... I can't help it!

Een paar bakvormpjes, een schattige oude foto, een bijna antiek bijbeltje en een heel lief kinderoverslaghemdje. Ik hoop dat jullie het leuk vinden! Sweet animals from the woods on the shelves, I painted in a bright red

En haar collectie Barbie poppen, allemaal mooi opgetut en aangekleed, en haar knuffels.

And her collection Barbie dolls, all dressed up, and her softies.

Ik maakte vandaag deze nog voor haar, en oh oh, dit smaakt naar meer!

I made her this one today and oh my this was really fun! I want more!

Schuiven jullie aan voor een kopje thee met een gebakje? De dametjes zijn er al klaar voor!

Do you wanna join for a cup of tea and a little piece of cake? The little ladies are ready for it!

En haar kleine, maar functionele burohoekje

And her little but functional desk corner

Alle potloden en pennen bij de hand

All pencils and ball points hold by hand

En een spiegel om zich lekker op te tutten. De hanger met het jurkje en het beertje maakte ze laatst zelf op het kinderfeestje van haar nichtje. Ook het vogeltje heeft ze zelfgemaakt.

And a mirror to put on her make up. The hanger with the dress and the cute little pink bear she made herself on the birthdayparty of her niece. She also made the chipboard bird herself.


Other happy things

Het was een heerlijke week. Er gebeurde zoveel leuke dingen. Als eerste won ik deze give away op het blog van Sue:

Verder kreeg ik van Sofie een heel leuk berichtje dat ik haar give away gewonnen heb! Maar er ligt daar zo'n berg sneeuw, dat het versturen nog een beetje moeilijk is! Pffttt... ik ben blij dat het hier nu eindelijk weg is!

En ik kreeg nog een fantastische mail. Helaas kan ik daar nu nog niet teveel over kwijt, maar dit zal waarschijnlijk niet lang meer duren. Meiden, ik heb het gevoel een enorme geluksvogel te zijn!

Further on I got a very nice mail from Sofie, I won her give away! But there's still such an amount of snow there, so she can't post it yet. Pffttt... I'm glad we don't have snow here anymore!

And I got another awesome mail, but I can't tell you more about it yet. But I hope I can very soon. Girls, I've the feeling to be a huge lucky bird!

Nog een paar daagjes vakantie, zaterdag m'n zusje helpen in de winkel (op m'n verjaardag!), en zondag heerlijk shoppen op de handwerkbeurs in Zwolle! Ik heb er zin in! Ik ga dadelijk eerst eens even lekker bloghoppen, ik lig hopeloos op achter! Ik wil jullie allemaal heel erg bedanken voor al jullie lieve, leuke en gezellige comments, ik wist gewoon niet wat me overkwam afgelopen keer! En omdat jullie me allemaal zo dierbaar zijn, beloof ik een give away héél binnenkort!

En als ik nog even een momentje over heb, wil ik deze matroesjka nog afmaken. Ik geloof dat deze niet op Bo d'r kamertje komt, staat véélste leuk in de woonkamer! De perfecte kleur rose!

Just a few days of vacation left, Saturday I'm gonna assist my sister in her shop (on my birthday!) and sunday I'll go to the needlework fair in Zwolle. I'm looking forward to it! But now I'm gonna do some bloghopping. I'm way behind! I wanna thank you all for your lovely, kind and sweet comments! I was totally flabbergasted last time! When I've some time left, I want to finish this Matroesjka. Hmm... I think this one will not join the other one on Bo's room, I think this one will look very nice in our livingroom! The perfect color pink!
